MASHA DIMITRI, born in Ticino, Switzerland, began her professional training at the age of 15 at the National Circus School in Budapest, Hungary. Learns as a main discipline slack wire with Otto Nànàsi, indirectly followed by Szilard Szèkely, by that time acrobatic teacher at the Scuola Teatro Dimitri, Verscio/Switzerland.
After two years she switches to the Scuola Teatro Dimitri, where she continues the slack wire with Szilard and graduates in 1984.
1985
The first engagement with her own slack wire act brings her to San Francisco, at the Pickle Family Circus.1986
Follows engagement at Cirque Gruss in France.1987
Engagement at the Cirque du Soleil in Canada.1988 - 1990
She tours with the Compagnia Teatro Dimitri, with whom she performs in "L'uccello variopinto" und "Mozart".1991
She joins Théâtre Cabaret Dromesko, France.1992
Engagement at Circus Knie, Switzerland.From 1993
Assistant director and choreographer of different shows in circus and theatre.1994
Birth of her daughter Kira.1995/96

Opening with her stage-play "Rehearsal Space", directed by Dimitri. Follow extended tours.1999/2000
She becomes a member of Compagnia Teatro Paravento. Several tours with the play "Carnevale".2000
She resumes touring with "Rehearsal Space".2001
New production "Upside Down", with duo partner Kai Leclerc. Artistic direction: Dimitri.2002
Opening with her second One Woman Show: "Le Fil Rouge", directed by Dimitri.2003
